I'm right down to the point of plunking down the $$$ for a new 66 F Comp.
Is it worth the extra money than the standard model 66?
Does anyone have any experience with one?

I'm not a fan of ported guns for 99.999999999999999% of the uses. They may good for a very few competition situations but out side of that I'd say porting is pure hype.

Yes, they're worth it. IIRC, they're from the S&W Custom Shop so the trigger is also smooth as a baby's ass.
The porting is also a benny. You'd be surprised at how much recoil it makes disappear.
