What's the deal here. The updates about DIYguns.com has been locked so no further updates can be posted. I would think this forum would like its members updated about businesses that have such terrible customer service so as not to have anyone else burnt. I have now finally received the first correspondance with DIYguns since the order was placed. They are now saying that the parts are on backorder. I guessing they should have said that the first day the order was placed. I have asked for a credit to my credit card and will take my business elsewhere. This is not a flamming of anyone but just a heads up for people who are considering doing business with this company. BUYERS BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. IT IS FULL OF EXCUSES AND NO SERVICE.!!!

Finally got a phone call from Frank on 4-4. He didn't understand why not having a phone or any emails that worked were a problem. He did not have any of the parts I ordered in stock when the order was placed. Instead, the order sat in a "pending" status then went to "processing" then to "back order". When I finally got an email to work I told him I was filing a grievance with my credit card for the return of money. He agreed to cancel my order and place a refund on the credit card. Unfortunatly there is still no credit on the card. I cannot imagine how a company like this stays in business with such terrible operations. The bad thing is he still has the parts kits showing on his web site but has none in stock. All he can say is they are on back order. Maybe you should remove them from your site until you can determine when they are available.  Just a warning for everyone on this company. DEAL AT YOUR OWN RISK !!! Guess I'll have to go ahead and file with my credit card and maybe that will get the refund done.

I had ordered 2 60% 1911 frames from DIYguns, and got chraged the next day.  After a month I emailed and called him several times to find out what the delay was, but never got a response.  I finally had to call my credit card company and file a dipsute.  After 2 more weks my money was refunded.

Do not order form the, it is pretty safe to say if they haven't gone belly up already they will be very, very soon.

After readin the home gunsmithing forums they run, it seemed apparent they are a sinking ship and are using funds from one online purchase to fund the purchase the parts from their supplier for the previosu buyer.

Just another heads up on this company. I am still waiting on the credit to my account from the conversation on 4-4-08. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company. I no longer receive any return emails from this company and the phone number they have on Roderus Custom guns just rings. No one answers. Apparently they take your money but do not have the products to sell. I have sent them one last email to let them know I have contacted the Florida Atty. General. BEWARE TO ALL WHO ARE THINKING ABOUT DOING BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.
