I have one, and the slide release was stiff as hell when i got it, and then broke off. anybody out there have one? any other problems, aside from the shitty sights?

I've got one too. It works, but isn't anything special. it's been 100% reliable so far, shot everything I fed through it.

Sounds like one of those "hideous Rugers" could be in the cards.
Send it in for repair.

already did, should be getting it back this week, according to taurus, so we shall see. also, ironically enough, im looking at getting an AC556 flame suit ON

I'm loking at the AC 556 as well, so, no flamin' here.
As far as my PT 24/7 goes, mines done fine after about 300 rounds to break it in, it's been good to me.

lol, good to know. as far as the flame suit i bashed ruger auto's in general pretty bad a while back. what can i say? other than the 22's, theyre all ugly, lol
