On a trip to Texas recently I went shooting with my buddy. He brought his 9mm XD (which I love) and a Glock 19 that he borrowed from a co-worker. Before we left for the range, I safety checked the Glock 19, I pulled the slide back and then dropped the magazine. I then got a shock, the magazine was cracked along the back by the spy holes. I have been shooting and handling Glocks (I own four) for about 20 years and I have NEVER seen this kind of damage. I have seen Glock Magazine base plates crack from repeated droppings but never this. Has anyone seen this kind of damage on a Glock Magazine? I asked the owner and I got a "I don't know", guess he doesn't shoot or check his weapon very often. |
