I have an old Mauser BroomHandle that I would like for someone to help me figure out just which modle it is. Any Information will be helpful and appreciated.

Waffenfabrik Mauser Oberndorf A.Neckar on Right side above the grip
Waffenfabrik Mauser Oberndorf A/N on top of chamber
P proof mark under serial number Also has a couple other proof marks in same area that I can not tell what they are
Mauser on left side above grip in a raised panel
N inside a S on the Hammer
Hammer and serial number match on barrel
Frame serial number on grip back strap, serial number on hammer housing  and the number on the firing pim block do not match.

Barrel serial number is 463517
Hammer serial number is 517
Back Strap serial number is 715025
hammer housing above back strap is 163523
firing pin block serial number is 523
Some light pitting
I am going to say it is in 70% condition.
Bright Shiny bore with around 70% rifling
Gun is in great mechanical condition.
orginal chamber
Looks like 21 groves in the wooden grips

I would like to get some idea of its value as well as I may part with it.

Go to here & ask them for some advice, IMO.

Good luck!

That last pic shows the import mark of CAI which i think stands for Century Arms International in Vt.
That kills any collector value but not the fun and joy of owning and shooting it.

I guess I missed that. What would an import in this condition be worth.

Dont know how much the import marks will detract, but there are several on GB for 1600+..... Non mention import marks though..

Where? My eyes may be worse than I thought, but I don't see it anywhere. The mark on the barrel where it tapers out into the frame looks more like a letter "M" than anything else.

About 1 1/2" before the M

The mark is on the underside of the barrell - CAI St Alb VT is Century Arms International, St. Albans Vermont.

About $350-400 wholesale for this gun in this condition.  More retail.

Gorgeous gun . . . and I love the 1000m sights!

Does it have a script NS on the hammer?  Most Century import Mausers I've seen were Commercial Model 30's.  Does it have the tiny German eagle military proofs stamped all over it?  If not, then another vote for the Model 30.

You better give that to me....too dangerous for the rest of humanity.  Only I can keep them safe from the Dread Mauser.

Ahh, ok. I saw that mark, but couldn't distinguish the "CAI" part of it.

www.1896mauser.com might answer some questions for you too.

It is a Bolo. The safety is a New Safety, it was most likely made in the 1930's.

The Bolo's don't hold their value as well as the original C-96's.

It most likely shoots 7.63x25mm ammunition, unless it was rebored later to 9mm.

Looking at condition & being a mixmaster, I think $400 is about right for the gun.

Is that a 9mm and have you fired it?  It does appear to be a mixmaster and the cai marking is a detractor.  I've been interested in finding a 9mm shooter for a while, but I haven't studied enough about them to be able to identify any of them.  The mauser forum mentioned above would be your best bet for identification.  They have a forum section specifically for identification purposes.
