I'm looking for a red 9 broomhandle shooter and have come across some chinese copies made in the 80's with detachable mags.

Has anyone had any experience with these? Operation and small parts consistent with Mauser? Are there things I need to look for?

I once had one & blew the damn thing up shooting Wolf ammo in it.

It was a way cool gun to shoot but WAY too fragile for playing with more than 2-3 times a year, IMO. Finding parts are a mo-fo too, IMO.

The Mauser Brooms are better. And the detachable mag pistols are selling for a premium over the better German ones.
