First how much does one of these go for new and used? The serial # on it is around 50000 is that low? The gun has holster wear on the side of the barrel and the cylinder, it shoots great has a real nice trigger pull to it, the has a pacmeyer grips,4 inch barrel and adjustable sights .

Is there anything i should check on the gun? and any good loads for it or any to stay away from?

Pythons haven't been made for several years now. Colt Custom Shop made them their shining example for a while but, alas no more.

Just look for the usual revolver problems like cylinder looseness, timing, trigger grit, cylinder gap, etc. etc.

As for loads, all guns prefer different loads. Just find the one it likes best.
