I have a Glock 27 .40 S&W and I inherited a Glock 29 10mm from may Dad last year.  I'm thinking I don't need both and I may sell one in order to buy a full size semi-auto.  I like firing them both but the 10mm is a little harder to handle.  Any opinions?

if you must sell one... sell the 27.
C'mon 10mm freakin rocks!
Keep the 10mm for a CCW... put some night sights on it and get a light.
And a lasermax!

+1

Remember, the .40 SW is a watered down 10mm that was made for people with weak wrists and manicures. When you really need to put something down its 10mm time. I have a G20 and i can regularly nail the gong at 300 yards with it, its THAT manly

I'd go with whatever you shoot best.  Sounds like the 10mm isn't your thing.  Nothing wrong with that.  Hits matter more than ego.

Sell them both and get a g21 or 30 :) because .45 rocks.

Sell 'em both and get

G34 and G19

CZ-75 SP-01 and CZ-75 P-01

G19 and 1911

Something like that, I don't know, but two subcompacts can't be any fun...

I say sell them both and replace them both with a pair of Glocks chambered for NATO rounds.

G21,G30,G36,G17,G19,G26,G34

Take your pick.

I do want to keep at least one of them for ccw purposes.

Wow...normally on AAR15.COM all see is that .40 S&W is too snappy and uncomfortable to shoot.

Go with the one that works best for you.

Good luck.

Keep the one that’s the same caliber as the full-size you’re going to get!

Sell the G29.
.40 is easier to find than 10mm

Why are you selling a gun?  Do you really need the money???   I say keep 'em both unless its a serious money issue.  There have been hundreds of threads about" how I wish I never sold this gun."

I haven't decided to sell it for sure but, I have 15 firearms, I inherited 18 from my Dad for a total of about 33.  I've been in the Army for 25 years and I move about every 2 years.  With that many guns it becomes a giant pain every time I move, not to mention if the Army decides to send me to one of those states that isn't gun friendly.  Pistols aren't so bad when I move but moving 30 long guns accross the country with a wife and 3 kids becomes an issue.  I don't trust the military contract movers to move them so I have to load them up with us and move them myself.  This won't be a problem in a few years when I retire.

I have sold many guns and I only regret one, and even it I only "kind-of" regret. (SLR-106FR)

If you have something you're not particularly interested in, and something comes along that you ARE interested in, I see no problem selling one to obtain the other.

Well, the 21SF is a great pistol you could consider.  If the 10mm is a bit heavy for you, dump it.  If the 27 isn't practical, dump it too.  Gotta have a pistol that you're happy with.

I would keep the 29 for sure.  I have the 30 and love the size.

With all due respect...
You inherited a Glock 29 10mm from your Dad...
Keep it, and pass it down to your son!

Buy a 40cal barrel for the 10mm and be done.

Keep the 27 and consolidate your pistols to .40. The 27 is so compact and accurate. You will miss it too much.

There is no question in my mind that you should keep the 29. Get a 40 conversion barrel like someone said.

How could you seriously consider getting rid of something given to you by your father?

Thanks for talking me out of selling, I'll keep them and just add to my collection.
