If it's LN Yes, give or take $25.

Well I had 250.00 in an AT380 and I gave 100.00 and a BDM in waist holster for it!

So I guess its good to go!  I don't feel undergunned with 148 grn wadcutters.

But I really like the leather high waist Bianchi houlster he threw in.

I really liked the AT380 but the Colt detective is just better some how!

KEL-Tec or Colt  Humm guess I'll take the Colt!

Funny you should post this thread... I was thinking of buying one just last night.

If you are able,
Do they have the same J-frame grip as S&W?
How does the cylinder release work? Push forward? I like the S&W release, so I don't know if I could get used to it.

Release is tug back (like the diamondbacks), not push forward (like the smiths).

They are neat guns. I had mine reblued by Colt and it's going to my dad. That will in turn light a fire under my ass to replace it.

I have one.  I just can't get used to gripping it.  I never shoot it that good DA.  Single action is better of course. It's a nice little revolver though.  Accurate too for how short the barrel is.

and its a 6 shot not a 5 shot like smiths

Thanks.

I found one on gunbroker for $775
I'll have to keep my eyes peeled I guess.

3rd gen DS are some of the most beautiful pistols ever produced (the ones with the shroud around the ejector rod)!

And as pointed out they carry six instead of five! That extra round might come in handy some day.

The very first firearm I fired was a Colt DS. One of my parents friends had one. When we were visiting he took me outside, gave me a good lecture on safety and let me fire a few rounds. I think I was 7 or 8 at the time. I keep my eyes open at the shows and shops but have not found one in my price range when I have had the extra cash. One day I will.

The DS and the Ruger MK II 4in tapered barrel are my highest "nostalgia factor" pistols. I have one out of two so far.

I bought one because that is what my Grandpa carried for many years.

That is bizarre. My two first pistols were the exact same thing.  My dad gave me them, but they were both my Great Grandpa's.
