I have a Kimber Custom II 1911 on the way, and I want to get a shoulder rig holster for it. Does anybody have any good recomendations for one that fits the Kimber custom? Thank you |

Thank you W-W, I checked them out and they look great, but I found a DeSantis holster I like here.www.desantisholster.com/n84.html It fits my budget better than the Galco, but I notice there is no Kimber Custom II 1911 on here. I only see the Colt 1911. W ill the Kimber fit the Colt 1911 model? If not I guess I will have to cough up the extra money for the Galco. :) |

Lots of times you will only see Colt 1911, or Colt Commander or Colt Officer's listed. If you have a Gov't length slide get the one for the 1911 Gov't, Commander length slide (Kimber Compact, IIRC) etc..... The slides should be darn close enough to match. I think the Galco Fletch holster lists Colt Commander and Kimber CDP Compact. So it should be fairly universal. Some companies may differ, you might want to call to save shipping. Ed |
