Anyone here have one of these? I picked one up used about a year and a half ago or so. I really like it as a plinking/carrying in the woods gun, as I like the 1911 style and the light weight. But this pistol is more finicky than any other .22 pistol I have owned, including conversions. I also don't really like the fact that the slide doesn't hold open on an empty mag. What are my other choices as far as a single action .22 pistol that I can carry cocked and locked preferably with an external hammer and has a good feel to it. I have a Buckmark, had a Sig Trailside that I really liked but had too many issues with it and sold it, and now the Kimber. I also have a Kadet conversion for my CZ 75 SAO, which I love, but it's a little heavier than I'm looking for. This is the kind of pistol I strap on when out for a walk or on the quad for plinking and shooting raccoons or groundhogs, etc.. |
