I have a RRA 1911 with a Bomar rear sight and I was wondering if there are any options for a fixed tactical sight that I can install and not look bad? A sight such as the Novak Low Mount or Heinie style sights. I understand the 1911 slide is cut different when a Bomar is installed and there is an extra notch cut, so this is what creates the problem. Thanks, 77Bronc |

You'd have to have some additional milling done since RRA usually does the "hidden rear-leaf" style of cuts, but Hienie makes:  link |

John Harrison also makes a custom fixed sight to fit the Bo-Mar cut. www.louderthanwords.us/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4613 I don't see it being very cheap, though. |
