I have a Taurus PT 92 with 6 15 round Mec-Gar mags it has the decocker, wood grips and is in excellent condition.

Can anyone give me an idea about what I should ask or expect to get in a trade for it.

I've checked Gunbroker but all I can find is new ones.

Thanks

Find a copy of the Fjestad's bBue Book.  Most large book stores stock them.  Figure two thirds of the price listed assuming excellent condition, original box and papers, etc.  The mags help but not much.  Don't be surprised if the dealers don't offer anything.  Taurus is a decent gun, but not always an easy one to sell used.  Right off the top of my head I'd say $250.

I had one I bought new in 1991, it was the SS model with the wooden grips.
Looked really nice. I sold it a couple of years ago for $400.

I have been kicking myself every since. The new ones I have seen are not really made the same, alot of the parts (decocker, hammer, etc.) look like they are alot cheaper made than the one I had.

Anyway, I have thought many times about buying another, but got a G17 instead.
Maybe I will pick one up some day.
