| this summer i will likely be moving to cali, work-related, for about a month. im 18 and was wondering if there would be some way for me to take my pistol with me. im sure most all of you would not want to be across the country unarmed either. i think i remember reading something about being able to get permission from batf or something. does anyone know anything more that might help me? thank you all |

As for your post, techincally being 18 you are not permitted to have a handgun, I thought that was national but I may be mistaken anyway to transport it it must be locked and really as long as you don't look like a trouble maker you should not invite any unwanted law enforcement attention and should be okay.
