| Anyone have some experience with this pistol? I've fondled it and really like it's features - but would like to hear from some owners. |
I have the 9 and 40 and love them I carry one or the other all the time .I carried a G 22 at first but then got the M&P and after putting a few hunderd through them I started carying them.Even did the bobtail jobs myself. You might get a lot of info from here mp-pistol.com/boards/index.php

The M&P40 is a great handgun. It's probably one of the softest shooting .40 S&Ws I've ever shot. It shoots like a 9mm with a +P load. There have been some issues with the M&P40 dropping magazines for no apparent reason but it looks like S&W has identified the problem and their response to fix the problematic ones is extremely responsive. |
| Right now BUDS has them on sale for $399 probally wont find a better deal you see used ones going for more www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/index.php |
| It is a very nice handgun. It has the feel of a SIG, but it is lighter and it has even better ergonomics. The trigger is pretty nice too. If I was in the market for a compact .40 it would be at the top of the list. My only question about it is how many rounds will the pistol hold up on. |
Only time will tell but keep in mind the M&P was designed for the .40 S&W unlike the Glocks that were originally designed for the 9mm. |

Thanks for the input! I got the 40! |
