I love it. I wasn't sure about getting it because I didn't want a Glock clone. I shot the XD and a Glock 19 side-by-side and there is no comparison. The XD is a natural pointer, light, reliable, and really innovative. Plus, I got the factory 40SW mags which allows me to feed 15 rounds of 9mm reliably. It's not just a myth. Once the mags are cycled through a couple of times, they are just as reliable as the factory 9's |

One thing that I might want to say is that the ATF has deemed that using a .40 caliber magazine in the 9mm to have added fire power is illegal. I have no idea how the hell they did that since it isn't a violation of any law that they made, but they still say that it is illegal. Just wanted to give you all a heads up. But otherwise congrads on the purchase. The M1911 is a great looking piece. |

Mb121 I was told on many different occassions that as long as the magazine was not altered and could still function in the weapon that it was designed for, it is perfectly legal to possess them. If you doon't miond me asking, where did you hear about the ATF's decision on this one? M4 I got the gun from Northeast Guns and Pawn. They probably had the largest selection of handguns there. Ironic that I actually had to drive through what seemed to be the worst section of Baltimore to get to it |
| I heard it from a cop pal of mine, basically it was brought up when I was talking with him about the HK USP, same thing can happen with it, the 40 mag going into the 9. I emailed the ATF on that, they said that yes it is a violation against soem law, I can't remember which because this was a while ago. But email them to find out the details. |
Yeah, they are pretty good guys. Worst part of Baltimore? I didnt know there was a "worst part" The whole place is a war zone shit hole. Just my .02
