OK i traded my glock33 w/4mags for a NIB kimber customII. im new to the 1911 world so help a dog out.............UNDERDOG

You did ok, neither one of you got taken, IMO. If you don't mind me asking, why did you get rid of the 33?

It was good for carry but crap to shoot,Plus ive never had a 1911 before so...........

i have and have both and you got the better deal imho.the kimber 1911 is a very,very nice gun.the glock is very utilitarian.both and dead reliable.som folks love 1911 some dont.same with glocks some like em some dont.the only thing i dont care for in the glock is the safe action triger.the single action triger on the kimber will spoil you in that regaurd.
