Well guys I'm pondering on selling my Dan Wesson 44mag. I've been pondering this for a while and I still don't know what a fair asking price for it should be. The local store said that they wouldn't go but around $150. I was like, ah..... NO! I traded many moons to get into this gun, actually one of my first trades. It's a blued 8" heavy shroud barrel. I sent it many years ago back to Dan Wesson to have it reblued and serviced. I have a B-square scope mount and an Nicer Tasco 1.5X- 4X scope on it. I swea I still have the barrel wrench for it somewhere around, but haven't been able to locate it in recent past. I don't know guys. What do you think it's worth and where is a good place to look to selling it as the members here are more geared towards the semi's and such? Ideas or opinions? Thanks, Nox |
ok what would you give him for a used, re blued incomplete Dan Wesson? Lord knows they don't command a lot of money even with a complete pistol pack( all 4 barrels with belt buckle) the last set I sold was NIB for $500 and it took a while. As for ebay there are SUCKERS on there every day, I normally sell the Randal knives I have left over from the Tulsa show on there for MORE than I was asking because people get caught up in the bidding wars. The offer is not out of line for the gun in its present form. Not trying to be mean but around here you would mostly likely be offered $100 and try to flip it for $200 is possible. I say take the $150 and run if you still can. |
