I've been considering setting up some kind of bulletproof backdrop in my garage. It would be really sweet to be able to pound off a couple hundred rounds without going to the range. My garage is 48 feet deep, so plenty long enough to facilitate handguns. Noise from shooting is not a problem because I have no neighbors close enough to worry about. Aside from installing some adequate ventilation, I was wondering what you guys thought about how I could build some kind of flat backdrop? What materials could I use?

Any ideas? Comments?

Consider silenced weapons also.  I have a Walther P22 w/can, it is a great "garage" weapon, very quite.  And silencers are legal in NH.  And the price of .22 silencer is certainly cheaper than some of those indoor gun range systems.
