How much are these worth? I found someone selling some and was wondering how much they went for. Oz |
| Assuming you are asking about the larger floorplate for a standard USP magazine as used on the Target/Match type guns, they are "worth" about $3 each, but, as with most everything else HK puts their name on, they usually sell for an inflated price. Around $10 ea. if I recall. |

Well, again, not knowing which model or caliber you speak of, I would say that the only HK mags you could lawfully add a 3 rd. capacity to would be pre bans, or either pre or post ban models which hold 7 rd. or less, since any addition to, say a 10 rd. post ban USP mag would be "manufacture" of a restricted ammunition feeding device...same reason you cannot lawfully add a +2 floorplate to a G26 mag that was made as a 10 rounder...you have now "manufactured" a 12 rd. mag. It's perfectly OK, however, to insert a high-capacity mag made before the ban and use it to your hearts' content. In any case, a +3 extension would probably require a new spring also, and, no, I do not know anyone using any such animal for an HK pistol, but I'm sure they are out there. Hey, it does not HAVE to make sense...it's the law! |
