My Kimber Warrior, even though it is relatively new, jams up on me.  Sometimes it will not chamber the round all the way.  What can I do to correct this problem?

I have a Kahr arms 1911 that I got as a parts kit. Put it together and sent it to a gunsmith to verify that every thing is OK.  Even though this thing cost me $400 it is pretty accurate. It isnt fancy by any means, but it shoots damn well.   I just wanted to let everyone know how good this brand of pistol is.  Its cheaper than most, but shoots better than a lot of the higher priced customs that are out there.

one more thing:  I need all the info I can get about 10mm.

warrior: first, i'd check the mags and ammo...what kind are you using? when you say it wont chamber all the way, do you mean that it slide is not locking forward correctly? is there any drag on the feedramp?
it might be nothing if you are still in the break in period....

kahr: use to hear great things about em, but lately i have heard too much negative stuff about em (from poor machinging, to extracting problems, even after being sent back....)

10mm: 10mm--one of my favorite loads....very versitile; recommend Double Taps and Win silvertips
