Get a good belt, a Blade-tech Kydex holster, and mag pouches from them or from the guy on EE that is selling them all the time. My G19 has had the extended mag release since before I got it and doesn't hinder holster selection at all. I personally wouldn't do a .22 conversion, just my opinion...but I have a .22 pistol. I'd seriously consider getting a 1911 for IPSC, as well, but anything you practice with, you will learn to do alright. |
