Does anyone here have any experience with Ace Custom .45's?  I'm thinking of sending them my Glock 21 for conversion to .45 Super.

Is it worth it?  Is Ace Custom easy to deal with?

I am by no means a expert but couldn't you do this yourself?

I wouldn't think there would be much to do for a super conversion on your glock.

check out www.glocktalk.com those guys will be all over this conversion.

It would seem that way, but they hand fit a new fully supported barrel to the slide and magna port the barrel.

Their website says that all .45 super conversions MUST be installed by a gunsmith.

Did you go over to glock talk, if not go to the big dawgs club a few people over there have supers.

I've shot some .45 super in my Glock 30.All that was required was a heavier recoil spring,It functioned perfectly but it just felt like it was hammering the gun.I discussed it over at Glocktalk and the general concensus was not to shoot it in the 30 but the 21 was ok.I'ts a very hot round.Texas ammo also makes a .45 super express for handgun hunters which is even hotter.

I've been launching 200 grainers at 1385 fps out of my 5" Colt. Thats plenty hot enough.

As soon as texas-ammo gets their ass in gear and send me my order I'll be trying out three different 45 Super loads thru my Oly arms 45 ACP upper. Oly says its OK, so I'm gonna give it a go. Its an 11.5" bbl so I should get some impressive velocity. Look for me in the newspapers...man eats ar15 bolt and lives...
