Where can I get the cardboard half torso targets.  I'm not sure the exact name.  Have seen them in several rags but never in a catalog.

A cheap alternative (read as free) is to use paper grocery bags.

Cut them in half down the sides and leave the bottom for the head.

Those things get expensive fast.

Unless you need them for a formal IPSC/IDPA competition or such, there’s a lot to be said for buying paper versions of them and simply stapling them to a piece of cardboard.

Or just do a search for IPSC targets.

I agree with 199.  Cardboard targets get expensive, especially if you can't buy them locally.  Shipping is expensive.  If you do use cardboard, get some pasters or tape,  this will greatly extend the life of the target.
