| I have a Kel-Tec P-32 slide and barrel I need to get hardchromed. I don't especially care for the look, but the little bastard will start to rust in a few hours if it gets a little sweat on it. |

Heres a pic of my G19 that was done by (apwcogan)Accurate Plating and Weaponry It is brushed on the sides of the slide and matte on top. My camera doesnt do it any justice.  Edited for better pics |

| Custom Glock Racing did my carry G23 in a matte hard chrome and it looks great. Shows very little if any wear in a Kydex Blade Tech IWB rig and cleans up nice. My G23 was a LE trade-in and was worn on the outside but hardly used on the inside so I sent it out and glad I did. |

W/o giving the longer version - Tripp did an awesome job chroming the slides on my P99 compact and SW99. I sent him a $1200 Springfield TRP, however, and he screwed it up. I sent it back a 2nd time, and the slide looked worse than it did when I got it back the 1st time. After 2 tries, I finally just got rid of the gun because it made me too irritated to look at. I would never send him a full gun again. I took a big loss on that gun. |
Ill be hoping the slide on my Bren comes out ok. There arent any replacement slides... Parts...yes... Slides... No... |

I just sent a nice little custom 1911 Champion off to Metaloy. I should have it back in a couple of weeks. Chris seems to be a pretty good guy. He's easy to reach and is more than willing to talk to you about your finish options. I really prefer dealing with companies that have enthusiasm for what they do so I feel pretty confident about the results. I'll post pics when the gun comes back. |
