My dilemma: Should I buy a new 92FS or send the 1991A1 off to Novaks for goodies?

What's the purpose for this gun? Why would you want us to tell you what to do if we dont even know what your plan is?

Nothing wrong with getting a new toy, especially if the price is right.

You can always add goodies to the 1911 later.

That's what I'm thinking. You can burn up a grand pretty quick on custom gunsmithing, but a new 92FS is about $500.
