I will try to make this short and to the point. My grandfather passed away a couple of months ago and had a good life. He was a pilot in the Air Force and served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. He flew fighter jets and then later flew transport. He escaped death twice when he crashed two fighter jets. I am not sure what exact years he was in but I am trying to do some research on this. I guess what I am asking help to find out the story on his duty weapon and knife! I have heard stories of them in the past and when he passed away they were given to me. Any info and/or links to more information would be appreciated. I will post some pics soon. High Standard Model G 380 cal .380 auto. Ctg Made in the USA High Standard MFG. CORP. New Haven, Conn.
