SOG had some in the $275 or so range, IIRC?

P38 or P1 for $275?  The P1 looks the same but is post war built with an aluminum frame.  True P38s go for a few hundred more.

P1 for $275. I use the P38/P1 interchangeably unless discussing true value on a collectable.

I paid $290 or so for mine a few years ago but I got 3 mags with it instead of the usual 2. Nice little shooter, makes a great companion piece for my Lugers. Great little 9mm training gun for newbies too, IMO.

Quoted:
under 300 for a P1

That's before the transfer fee, the NICS fee, sales tax, etc. etc.

Still a helluva buy though.

They are alll over at the gunshows. I bought a P1 for 250 here at a show. Came with the box, 2 mags, cleaning kit and military style holster. Its a great shooter.

I saw one of these at today's gunshow. It was WAY overpriced at $399, IIRC. They'll take that one home, IMO.
