I don't know a lot about this gun, other than it uses 5.7mm, and has 20 rounds.  20 ROUNDS?!?!?!?  Wow...but honestly, how many guns come with 20 rounds.  Very old in my book.  And using 5.7mm is another thing.  I thought only the P90 used that.  but if you know more about the FN Five-Seven, please enlighten me.  Thanks...

Actually, $800 would be a good price. An average price for the Five-seveN USG would be around $900 or more.

That's still pretty high for .22 magnum performance.....

Only difference is that the 5.7x28mm gets 600 to 750 fps higher velocity with the good rounds. There are three different 5.7x28mm rounds that are or will be available..

SS195LF - (28 gr @ 2150 fps out of 4.8in barrel) Identical to the SS192 that FN stopped importing. Only difference is a lead-free primer.

SS196SR - (40 gr @ 1650 fps out of 4.8in barrel) Becoming available.

SS197 - (40 gr @ 2000 fps out of 4.8in barrel) This one isn't available yet. I'm not aware of any 40 grain .22 WMR loads that get 2000 fps out of a 4.8 inch barrel. The .22 WMR runs around 1400 fps out of a 4-inch barrel.

Also look for ammo prices to drop as the demand decreases. Before the "AP scare", ammo could be found for $15/box and hadn't finished dropping. Also Fiocchi ammo of Ozark, MO will be loading the 5.7x28mm for FN starting this late summer.
