I am looking to get a new gun, possibly a 10mm Auto............. I don't know why, I am a .45 freak, but always wanted a 10......... the weapon must be a tack driver and I prefer a 1911 style....... Not interested in and Smith and wesson or Dan wesson brand......OR GLOCK>>>>>..... Does Colt still produce the Delta? Springfield or kimber making this bird? |

I know that you've discounted Glocks and I agree. I hate Glocks. Had a G23 . . . sold it Had a G17 . . . sold it Had a G19 . . . sold it (finally, I learned and bought an XD - - - PERFECT) The grip is just completely wrong for my hand and the trigger suck donkey balls. BUT UNFORUNATELY, they make the best 10mm on God's green Earth. I LOVE my Dad's , , , shoots soft and straight no matter how balls-to-the-walls the ammo is. Accurate as hell and hits like a God when He's pissed off with the Jews. It is the only Glock that tempts me. Too bad Springfield will never make an XD in that caliber . . . I would be one of the first in line. I honestly don't think that the 1911 style pistols are designed or redesignable to handle the extreme high pressures and slide velocities that the REAL 10mm delivers. The only 1911 that I've ever seen actual get worn out was a Delta 10mm . . . YMMV, IMNSHO, etc Disconnector |
