Got a new Glock malfunction today!  Attached FileSlide wouldn't move back so I used my knife to clear it (always carry a knife) Post your doozies! (Sorry if dupe. Searched malfunctions and got nothing) |

No pics but my best doozie was on my AR because I had a messed up feed lip on a mag. Had a round go above the bolt while another crushed by the bolt coming home. Happened three times before I discovered it was a magazine I had dropped on concrete loaded.

This sucked.
Sent this mega thousand dollar custom Les Baer Premiere II back to Les Baer 3 or 4 times over 8 years because it was failing to extract. They never could fix it and then they stopped returning my phone calls and emails. Basically stopped caring that an unmodified high-end 1911 with their name on it was non-functional. Finally sent it to Nighthawk and now it is utterly reliable and a pleasure to shoot. But for the fact that it is hard chromed, I would have had Nighthawk mill the Baer name off the slide.

I had a brand new Colt XSE Stainless Commander that the slide stuck open on the third round fired. It was stuck so hard I had to take the gun home to whack it with a mallet to get it closed. The slide had wedged onto the front of the frame rails.
