My friend just bought one and says his Hi Power mags don't fit his gun . Does anyone know what mags will work ? He was told that this model was made in Hungary and the internals were Smith & Wesson . He got the pistol for $200 otd .

There are two different FEG "Hi-Power" like pistols.

One is very close to the FN/Browning in all respects and does indeed use original FN/Browning type mags.  I have one and it does just fine.


The second type, which your friend has uses a copy of S&W internals, and may not use the Hi-Power mags.

I heard rumors SW 5906 mags work in those. I had one and converted a M9 mag that I ran in it.
