Narrowed it down to Sig 220 Elite or DW Bruin? I know decent price difference but gonna get one of them. Anyone shot both? Which handles recoil better? Any problem reported from either? Anything would help.
Love looks of both.

Sig P220 without a doubt. Buy once, and buy right. You will never look back if you buy the Sig P220 10mm.

I've shot neither, I recommend you get both, then you can sell either or both if you don't like them.  I have owned a G20 since 2004 (what's not to like about 15 rds of 10mm).  1911 feels better in my hand and though I don't have a need for it I still may scratch my itch for a 10mm in a 1911.  I'd go with the DW.  At least put both in your hand before you make a decision or go with the both option.

If the 220 is DA/SA, I'd take the Bruin all day long.

The DW all day everyday over the Sig.

Bruin.  The Sig is mega sweet and sexy....and it weighs about  third more than the dw.....or, it certainly feels that way.

Dan Wesson makes a fine firearm, but I'd get the Sig all day every day.

But some might say I'm a Sig fanboy.

FIFM.

Also... I'd consider the Glock G20 and G40 to be superior to the Sig... but that's just me.

Both are nice, but I prefer the 1911 over the Sig. 1911's have better ergos and triggers.

Dan Wesson > Sig

Hand fit, tool steel internals, duty treat

I don't think the sig is fair comparison other than caliber

Dan Wesson makes a much better product than Sig.

I have several different 10mm pistols. The S&W 1006 and Glock 20 may be the most practical. With the announcement of the new Ruger 1911 in 10mm, it might be worth a look at it.

Both the DW and P220 are production pistols.

The only reason to choose the DW is if you absolutely prefer 1911s.

The P220 SAO is an outstanding pistol in 10mm.

Being a DA/SA traditionalist (to include lots of trigger-time S&W 3rd Gen 10mms & .45s), I got the Sig 10mm in that set-up, rather than one of the SAO P220 models.

I've always wanted a 220 in 10mm to pair up with my W.G. .45 P220, and after seeing a couple of the stainless 220s that Bruce Gray (@ GrayGuns) "converted" to 10mm from .45acp, I figure I'd bide my time until Sig actually made one in the factory.

Glad I waited. My DA/SA 10mm Sig is both robust AND a shooter!

I'm sure the SAO P220 has a sweet SA trigger too, but I've already got a 10mm (1911) with that sort of trigger, called a Delta Elite.

OP, is a STI 10mm not on the table?

Asking what we would choose is like saying what should I choose the Camaro ZL1 or Cadillac CTS V.

Me it depends on what I want both are good pistols.  If just had to choose the DW because it is heavier and I feel I could shoot it faster in 10mm and the trigger is probably better but I would be happy with the P220 as well.  Probably save some coin on the P220.
