I am sure that Johnny gang banger thinks it is hideous when it is pointed at him too.

Most days I carry a 19, and then a 17 on weekends, but for after dark... the .45 comes out to play.

Glock 17 on duty. Glock 19 and Shield 9 off duty. I plan on carrying my VP9 once I get a new holster for it.

Way back in the day I carried a 5" 1911, but in more recent history (last 20 years) the largest has been a Hi Power:

It was replaced with a C& 75 Compact, as it's a little more comfortable to carry and easier to conceal.

More recently still I've carried a Lightweight Commander as it shaves a bit more weight, and I quite frankly shoot 1911's better than I do the CZ 75.

I also carry either my 2 1/2" Model 66 or my 2 1/2" 686+ in the winter - both fit the same holster.  The revolvers  are actually the most comfortable to carry of any of the above, despite their 36 oz and 40 oz respective weights when loaded.  Revolvers only have maximum width at the cylinder, while the grips and barrel are comparatively thin.  I contrast semi-auto pistols have near constant width through the entire firearm and are actual bulkier over all.  Polymer framed pistols tend to be the worst of all in that regard.

What holster is that on the K frame Dakota?  Or is that the L frame pictured.  I can't tell if it's the 66 or the 686.  I'm thinking it's the 66.

2.5" K frame for me as well. Several things I like about it over the more popular autos - one of them is what you posted above. I think it carries nicer than any G19 sized polymer gun.

The houge grip makes a world of difference on the lcp. Not the silly slip on, but the one that actually requires the back plug to be removed. And I changed out my trigger and springs long ago. Its a gen1 and I did the sweetpea trigger. Its what ruger went on to do with the lcp custom. But those two things actually make it a shootable gun. 8rds of 380 in my right pocket is better then that spyderco in my left.

I kinda like the KelTec P-32.

The Khar CW380 seems alright.

I know the Sig P238 is a sweet shooter and I like the SAS version...but they're a bit bulky.

The S&W Bodyguard 380 has a great feel, but they have a reputation for being rough shooting.

I'm just not so jazzed by any of them.

It seems people either start big and slowly downsize or start with a mousegun then get full sized guns. Very few people seem to start in-between.

It's understandable.

My backup is an Airweight revolver. It's kinda big, yet, but is light enough and they shoot damn well.

I carried a DAO Airweight of some form or another for years as a BUG. For some reason I find myself without one now.  I'm thinking I should get one of those no-lock 442s or 642s S&W is making now.  I like the LCP Custom because it is so easy to carry, but I'm not super excited about carrying a .380 and the reliability of all mini autos is suspect.  I've never had a problem with the LCP, but still.

I have some larger guns I carry from time to time, but the XDS is reliable, easy to carry, and in a chambering I like.  I carry the six round magazine in gun and a spare seven round one, that gives me 14 total rounds plus the BUG.  Not perfect, but I like it.

It prints.  We're an open carry state now.  I don't care that it prints.  Most folks don't even notice the 1911 on my hip, and if they do, they're looking @ the Legos, not the Glock 23 bulge in my pocket.

Couple times I've worn my limited gun home from a match with a mag full of HST

Most here would call me sorely undergunned but I usually just carry walther pps with a spare mag in the door compartment.  Not many rounds but I can shoot it well and it carries easy.

Although I haven't carried it for some months, the biggest gun I've carried regularly has been a SA Mil-Spec.  (see my avatar)
Now, since purchasing it in February, it's a CZ 75 P-01.

Carried 5" steel 1911's for a few years, but they left me wanting ammo.

Bought a G21 Gen4 and mounted an X300 on it and I carried that for 2 years, iwb.

I'm currently carrying a G19 Gen4 with that x300, but am trying to sell off a SPS Tacical so I can buy an M9A3 or M9A1 for HD and a little carry.

I seem to hate little guns. The G19 is the smallest pistol I own.

Good grief

I think my G17 is most likely the largest gun I've ever attempted to conceal.  I might have carried my old P229 once too.  Now it is most often a Kahr CT9 OWB or a TCP in the pocket if I am wearing something light

Usually a G19 due to the size vs rounds ratio. It seems to be the perfect carry size for what I need.

Since you said "regularly", I have to say a Beretta 21A or Keltec P32. I am almost embarrassed to admit it, but generally if I can't just slip it in my pocket it usually ends up staying in the safe. Especially in the summer time.

I carried a DW VBOB for several years OWB. Loaded it weighed in at well over two and a half pounds. Never forgot it was there.

Started carrying a Sig P938 (roughly pound and a quarter) in the summer, and it's gradually edging out the VBOB.

My 5" steel 1911 is actually more comfortable in a aiwb holster than my g19. A good stiff belt and I only know it's there when I tie my boots

Largest caliber or longest/tallest?

At home I EDC a compact CZ 9MM.  Before completing that project I was carrying a CZ 85 (Pre B) every day around the property/garage.

For away from home carry (shopping/traveling, etc.) I carry a CZ P07 in .40 S&W.

I kept my Colt 1911's but they are in the safe now, except for one.  I don't carry it.  I just keep it in the house.

5" 1911 at 3:30 is the largest. its been bumped out of place by a RO Compact (officer grip w/ 4" slide/barrel)

Usually Im carrying a LC9 AIWB. It's just easier on my back and more comfortable. I really need to get around to making an AIWB holster for the ROC.
