| Remington might have to it right but I am not rushing out to get one. |
| I am planning on getting one. I need a semi-auto 9mm for 3-gun matches and general woods/tractor carry. I bought an RM380 last year and it has been a tank well over 600rds through mine with no issues. I figure if the MSRP is $489 I should be able to find a deal on one and it will make a fine 3-gun/tractor gun for me. I plan to beat the hell out of it and we'll see. |

I don't look to Remington for handguns. Me either but I did get to handle a new R1 10mm Hunter a week ago. Assuming it doesn't break right out of the box they may have something there. 1911 style 10mm long slide. I could see it, however I'll let others go first. |
| It all depends on whether they get it as right as they did with the most underrated and ignored pocket 380 there is in the RM380 or if it's more like their R51 dud. I am glad I tried the RM380 though--shoots as good as a G42, most reliable 380 I've owned, and pockets like an LCP. If the trigger could break 1/16" sooner and at 8# instead of 11#, it'd be the perfect pocket pistol instead of just the best I've tried (out of like 12 with several repeats). |
