Is anyone having reliability issues with their LCP2? I have shot 100 rounds of FMJ Fiocchi 380 and I have had five malfunctions, 3 failures to full chamber and 2 failure to extracts that turned into double feeds.

So far its definitely a no-go to carry.

I want to like this because it would be good to ankle carry at work.

Sure it is not you thumbs dragging slide, poor grip on the tiny pistol, tried different ammo, was it the first early rounds?

Focc has malfunctioned in every caliber and gun ive tried it in. I think silver bear is more reliable then focc

It took a bit before my LCP I was reliable. Had tons of trouble in the first 100 rounds but now it's solid. I don't know what to say about it.

It could be my thumb and it was spaced out pretty evenly throughout the 100 rounds.

I've had good luck with fiocchi ammo in 9mm but this is the first time I've tried it in 380.

I would try a different ammo before blaming the gun.  I had to send 10 boxes back of Fiocchi due to being over pressure and popping primers.  It wasn't 380 but I haven't had the best of luck with it.  They were good about replacing it.

Try some different types, if you still have the issue and it's not your grip send it back to Ruger.  I've sent a LCP back to them, they have great CS.

I have two LCP IIs and have fired 250 rounds through each. No failures of any kind.
