....coming for my PPQ M2.  What can I expect?

I like the factory trigger but wanted to try the flat face.  If anyone has one, let me know what you think.

One of the best feeling triggers you'll ever feel, striker or hammer fired....doesn't matter.  Its fantastic.

Problem I had was that it removed so much of the pre-travel that I didn't feel it was suitable for anything other than a range toy.  I sent mine back.

Thanks for the insight on what I might expect.  I actually considered this possibility.  We'll see if I'm comfortable with it after it arrives.  The other part about being an exceptionally good trigger pull sounds promising.

If I had one issue with the stock trigger it would be the occasional unintended double tap.  I know I can practice or train around this, but it can be frustrating.  I usually just shoot for fun for groups and stuff.  I find there is a fine line between getting the reset point perfect, and mucking it up.

Focus on your follow through.  Striker fired guns have a lot of spring pressure pulling the trigger toward reset after the shot breaks.  If you relax and ignore your follow through, you will notice its really easy to double.  Everyone knows about follow through, but its easy to forget; if you remember to follow through after relaxing your finger, on striker fired guns with super short resets, you'll notice that slight relaxation is enough to allow the trigger to reset.  You remember to follow through after a relaxing moment and bam, round 2 lands a little higher than you wanted.  You will also notice that focusing on follow through will NOT cause you to slow down.  What it will allow you to do is time your reset to occur when the front sight is dropping back on target, rather than trying to reset while the recoil is carrying the front sight away from the target.

That being said, if you have that issue with the stock PPQ, it may be worse with apex trigger, but as you stated, you can work through it.

The trigger arrived quickly.  After I fumbled through the install I think the results are fantastic.  Haven't fired it yet, but am definitely anxious.  I think it's the best trigger I've felt outside of a 1911 or nice revolver.  Very impressed.
