Will Glock ever put out 7 or 8 round factory mags for G43? Anyone have any input or heard any rumors?

Lots of great extensions exist so who cares......  Taran, Pearce, and many others.  I put Pearce ones on my moms G43 mags they work great.

I've seen mixed reviews on Tarans.

My Taran +1 has been great, though I wish it offered just a little more room for my pinky.  The +2 has been finicky.

+1 from pearce are great....anything more defeats the point of a small, sub compact ccw side arm.

Agree, they work perfectly without getting in the way.

Hopefully Glock will come out with an 8 round mag with factory +2 for a good 10 round reload mag. Glock can use this mag for their slim line G44 or G45 which will be a G19 size single stack 9mm with standard  round mags.

I think it would be cool if someone came out with a double to single stack, 15-25 round mag for the G43.
I dont care what you "it defeats the purpose of the gun" people have to say. It would be fun for messin around with at the range.

my pearce +1 and strike industries +2s all work great, i just think the grip is too thin for my hands and my palm will hit the mag release.

Yup, and they're cheap.  I wish Glock included this instead of just the finger extension as they are both about the same size.

I actually have given a small amount of thought to putting one together from a 17 and 43, but have not done anything with it.
And I'm one that doesn't care about the ohh you're killing what it was made for with those +3 exts.
Go fly a kite, it gives me a full grip and I love it, TT +3 and +2's are awesome.

No, they won't. Glock gives you what Glock gives you. Like it or find some after market product.

Sure it's entirely possible. Look at the 33 round 9mm mags they make. I could have sworn last year right before the G43 was released someone posted a picture of a factory code for a 10 round mag.

Just get a shield instead. 7 and 8 round factory mags and decent sights from the factory.

I prefer Taran +1s for carry and +3s for reloads.

Is the shield cheaper? Yes, and if I were to suggest a gun for general concealed carry to someone not already invested in Glocks, the Shield wins.

But the G43 IS smaller and IS more similar to a full size Glock. So for a Glock guy with a G19, the G43 comes out on top. For someone with only service sized pistols or no defensive pistols at all, the Shield is a great compromise.

Mine too, for about 150 rounds so far.  I carry it as my backup mag, because it adds quite a bit of height.  I need to get a +1 to keep in the gun while carrying.

Anybody try the Vickers +2's yet?
