Whose got new 15 rnd 92 mags (factory)  that don't cost between $35 and $40 each?  My local store is selling them for $38 each and everywhere I look online they are only slightly cheaper with the exception of CDNN but they have been out of stock for a long time.  Thanks for the help.

Beretta mags were this much BEFORE the ban.  Your best bet might be LEO trade ins?

The MDS mags are current factory Beretta.  MDS is owned and operated by Beretta to just build their mags.  You can find them in the under $25 price range, and they are as good as they get.  The only difference is they say "MDS" instead of "Beretta".

+1 - When I got my first 92 (92FSB, IIRC) in the early '80s, extra 15-round factory mags were $30-40.  Twenty years & 1 AWB later, you can order one directly from Beretta for $43 (or a 20-rounder for $35) or look around and find them for less than that from certain dealers.  Not a lot to complain about IMHO.

I did a little research on the MDS (Meccanica del Sarca) and decided to go with those.  I found them locally for $22.00 each.  They look exactly like Beretta factory except they don't say "Beretta" on them.

Here's a link to an overview of MDS by Beretta.

Except they have the crappy base pads and shiny finish which I don't care for.  Besides MDS is the company that actually makes Beretta's factory magazines.

CDNN had them for 20$ (factory Beretta mags), may have been used excellent condition.

Beretta factory and mil mags are dirt cheap again, Local store had a bunch of used military Beretta USA, Italian and check-mates for $ 19 ea. They had 3 of the 2003 contract Check-mates new in wrap for $ 16 ea. Tons of the good asian contract mags around cheap too

I wouldn't trust my life to Check-mates or Asian contract mags.  I have a couple of the Asian contract mags for plinking but when compared to the factory mags made by Beretta they are shit.  For roughly the same money I went with the MDS mags.

Make sure the mags you are getting have the metal reinforcement in the floorplate.  This is to keep the floorplate from popping off under spring tension.
