i just bought a glock 19. My local gunshop, which usually has the best prices, had a g19(brand new) in there a week ago for $525. It was sold so i had them order me one, then they gave me the bill, $607 without taxes and fees which came to $667. Did I get reamed?

I have NEVER seen a stock GLOCK for over $600. A new G19 is $499-549 around here.

I know I figured it would be the same price, but I guess they want to screw me. it was my favorite gunshop but now has new owners. looks like i will be looking for a new dealer.
You should always confirm the price beforehand, but I still would've said no thanks and walked out.

Did you even ask them why your $525 gun went up to $607? They may have charged you for a "special order" since he didn't have it in stock. If so, that's bullshit. They shouldn't charge you for ordering a gun that they regularly stock.

515$-525$ here plus tax. Their price is a little high. I have seen them sold for $499 + tax.
Talk him down...or go somewhere else.

Average deal around here seems to be 469-499 for a NIB G19 w/2 15-round mags.
