Hi,
The white paint has come off my my Sig 239's rear dot sight.
I do not want to go to the expense of  replacing the sight, but would like opinions on which products would be suitable to repaint the white dot, and be able to endure the use of cleaning fluids etc.. TIA.

Sight Bright (might be Brite). Cost ~$5 per bottle. Not sure it comes in white. I bought it in fluorescent orange/red and it works great.

I don't care for Bright Sight. It wears off too easily. I found that Porc-a-fix is a lot better. Get it from Home Depot (@$5) or any other similar hardware store.  You can get it in different colors. It is really a glaze which thickens as it slowly dries so you have working time. The plain white is really white and shows up well. The only thing that takes this stuff off is naptha (you can use Zippo lighter fluid). I use it on my Trijicon night sights (for the circles) and used it on my Desert Eagle Mark VII 44mag. front sight. You can also fill in the lettering on your guns for a luxurious look. Good luck and keep safe.

Don't laugh, and for god's sake don't shoot me, but white or fluorescent fingernail polish works beautifully...h.gif
