Looking to possibly trade / sell / buy some different guns in the future and was wondering what the hive would think. Below is a list of some of the stuff I have, and their intended uses.
Springfield Armory Range Officer 1911, 45 ACP, Currently my carry gun (has some work done to it) CZ SP-01 Tactical, 9mm, Currently a SHTF / HD gun, will be a carry gun once my new holster comes in, to replace the 1911 Dan Wesson 3" Revolver, 357 Mag, Range Toy SR22, 22LR, Range Toy Colt Delta Elite, 1911 in 10mm, Range Toy / Collectable I want to keep the revolver, SR22, and the Delta Elite for sure. The CZ and the Range Officer on the other hand, I don't have a problem selling to create funds for new toys. Was thinking about going to a M&P9c in 9mm for carry, as the CZ and 1911 are both full size, all steel guns. I can carry them fine, with no issues, but they are a bit hefty. Then, I was thinking about putting the rest of the money towards a nice, 9mm range toy / target gun. Was thinking either one of the M&P Core guns with the red dot sights possibly. Another option is that my local shop has a few of the Sig X-Five models in the case. I haven't handled them yet, but they are very pretty guns and I have heard great things about them. The other thing I was thinking I could do, is to throw the target sights back on my 1911 (currently wears fixed tritium sights), and use that as a fun toy. Only problem is that the 45 ACP ammo is a tad more expensive, and it adds another caliber to my stocking. If I went to 9mm for the range toy and carry gun, then I would be consolidating a little bit. What say you guys? |

Keep the CZ as a range toy / target / nightstand pistol. The M&P Core guns aren't good for much unless you're going to put a suppressor on them. Other than that, I don't see any point. A real USPSA Open gun would absolutely slay it.
I'd say sell the SA RO and get a M&P compact or two for CCW. |

I honestly was thinking about trading / selling the R.O. for an M&Pc, then using the extra money towards ammo, holster, mags and a little towards training. The only thing that is making me hesitate is that the 1911 is so slim and i like how it disappears. The weight and bulk is a bit of a pain from time to time, bu it hides so easily. |

That's why you're keeping the DE... for when you feel the need to strap on some American steel and walk like a man. |

I love the way the D.E. shoots and 10mm is, in my opinion, a great cartridge. Yes, it is pricey to shoot, but it's worth it to break out the good-ol' Colt from time to time. |
