I've ordered a set of Dawson Precision sights for my PPQ and I'm wondering about a few things.
The front sight is.125 wide. The rear i ordered is .125 wide.
They also sell a .145 wide rear.
Soooo... what are the pros and cons of the different rear sights? Is there really that much of a difference?

from a competition view (USPSA)....as I've gotten older, I've narrowed my front sights from .125" to .090" for my pistols...it depends a lot on your vision, and length of sight radius of your pistol...a fiber optic light pipe will necessitate a slightly wider front blade...you can always open up the rear, or narrow the front, it's a lot harder to make the rear narrower

The wider rear sights supposedly let you acquire and center the front sight faster, and are harder to line up precisely for utmost accuracy.

Personally I like to see a little light between the sides of the front sight blade and the edges of the rear notch.
