I was looking at a new Glock 36 today. It seems to be a handy carry gun. I admit I am hesitant with the Glock system in that it cannot be thrown into a pocket, glove compartment or otherwise treated like a truck gun. it screams to be always in a holster. That how I see it anyways.
Again, it does appear to be handy and trustworthy. What options compete? Light, needs no 'work', reliable, 45, easy to carry / leather options. Compact. |

Really like the Colt Defender with a Cross Breed holster http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i158/tommy2399/45/0223111722a.jpg . http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i158/tommy2399/45/0223111723b.jpg . http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i158/tommy2399/20120523_181721.jpg Best compact .45 I ever owned |

My favorite compact 45 is the S&W 4553. Thin, light, DAO, stainless steel slide, aluminum frame and very easy to shoot for a DAO pistol. The bad news is you'd have to find a used one, but the good news is S&W made a lot of them. The one in the picture is the TSW model. |
