| I looked at them for a while now and just bought a 94C (single action). Haven't shot it yet but it appears to be quite a solid pistol. I've heard the DA on the 98 is very heavy, SA is quite good on mine right out of the box. Check over at fnhighpower.com and you'll find quite a few positive reviews. |

I was the first dealer in Alaska to sell Arcus pistols. I went through a couple of their special Edition Makarovs. They were very pretty (factory chrome) with s/n matched magazines but otherwise nothing special. I also sold one ARCUS-94. It was a good looking (to me cause I like chrome) Browning HP copy with some differences in design, which I liked. The trigger was horrible - heavy, creepy, and gritty. It also came with a couple of matching s/n magazines. I like them, just hate the trigger. Never handled the 98. |
