Looking for a lower profile setup for pocket or slim fit carry. Have a g19 now but want a smaller setup. Looked at the sig/ruger/kahr/etc

What's the best as far as reliability/price/holster availability?

I'm in a similar boat. I have a G19 and a 1911 that I carry most of the time but I want something thin.

Personally, I am looking at the Khar CW9, Beretta Nano, or the XDS .45acp when it finally comes available.

I have a friend with a CW9 and it's nice. Feels great in the hand and has low recoil for a small 9mm and it fits in most 1911 holsters.

Rock Island Armory 1911 compact?  3" barrel, 6 rd mag.

M&P Compact of course, 9mm or 45!

Or a G26 if you like your 19

Kahr K9 with the wood grips. The rubber grips are just way too small.

I haven't shot one, but I've heard to Walther PPS may fit the role you're looking to fill.

I love my Walther PPS.  It is very slim, reliable, and accurate.

I have one and it's been a great pistol so far.

I don't have many rounds through it yet but it's been well behaved so far. It's a nice shooting pistol for its size and it carries very well in the MTAC for me.

Aside from ankle or pocket carry, that's about as low profile as I can imagine it gets.

I've had a PM9 for several years now. Always reliable, recoil isn't bad and it's accurate.
Easily concealed.

After much research and inner debate, I chose the CM9. if money was no object I could probably get used to the nicer finish on the PM9. I'm wearing my CM in a crossbreed mini tuck right now..

These are appealing since they are only $350. Dont fit me the best though.

Held the few Sigs and they all had night sites for $650ish. Nice little pistols

Same boat, I CCW aG19, but wanted something slimmer. After a ton of reserach, I chose the Kahr CW9 - it's slim, but not too small. I can still get all of my fingers on the grip for a positive, comfortable hold.

The Sig 938 that comes out around summertime looks like it has some potential.

Its the one on the left with a P238 to scale.

this looks like the ticket!

I really liked the P238 when handling it. Actually feels like a pistol by comparison to the toy like Ruger

THIS..... I have 2 of them and they are 100% reliable where as my Kahr P9 done by Cylinder and Slide was only 99%

When I decided I wanted a compact service caliber pistol, it was between the Kahr PM9/CM9 and the Ruger LC9.  My main carry gun is a M&P9, and it is honestly pretty easy to conceal.  the compact version isn't that much smaller, not enough to carry it over the full size.  I ended up with a CM9 and am very happy with it.

Well I stumbled upon the S&W Shield on facebook the other day and went to my local dealer where they had gotten one in. Im a big M&P fan and have a few so this fit the bill perfecty.

One time handling it and the price was right at $430 so I jumped on it.  So far awesome shooting little pistol and nice and slim.  Cant wait until holster companies start cranking out some options for me on carry!

I recommend it and being somewhat new to carrying I like the addition of a manual safety.

Crossbreed has IWB holsters available for it on their website right now.
