I am looking into the FNP-45 Tactical with the threaded barrel, and thought it would be pretty cool to run a flash suppressor on the barrel instead of a cap. Something similar to what's shown below.
Any value to this idea / concept?

i have a vortex for a UPS tactical; it provides no useful function whatsoever

Maybe if you plan on poking somebody with it, but even then it would push the barrel/slide out of battery...
If you use most quality defense ammo, there is much less flash than cheap plinking ammo...

Does your pistol have muzzle flash?
Mine don't, as long as I shoot factory ammo.
.45 ACP is a low-pressure cartridge using relatively small charges of fast-burning powder. There shouldn't be much, if any, muzzle flash.
