| I have been looking for a good backpack for carrying a handgun. A few months back I heard Camelbak was introducing a bag for concealed carry called the "Urban Assualt Concealment". The pack is now on the market, but to my surprise I can't buy one. Seems this bag is for police and military only. The company (CA based I believe) is under the impression civilians might use it to carry a gun. I know many of us have CCW permits, but that doesn't seem to matter. P.S. I won't be buying any other Camelbak products. |
| I think their are better solutions out their that can hold hydration and a CCW. I enjoy maxpedition gear and a few others. I could see sewing a velcrow patch in a pack you like and getting a holster for it. I haven't found a battler that I can keep for more than a few years without it going bad. I clean it every time its used. after a while it just changes the flavor of the water to a bad one. I thought about getting the camelbak military one but the others are so cheap. |

It is not listed on their site at this time. It will no doubt be on their military site when the item is displayed. (military section can be found by clicking on word military in top right hand corner of the Camelbak home page.
The pack is slightly different than the regular Urban Assualt pack. Do a search on google, etc using the words (Camelbak Urban Assualt Concealment) for more details.
