For those of you that CCW and run what setup do you use.

I would like to go with minimum weight, I have a 442, M&P 9c, and a CW9, that I have considered carrying, as well as picking up a LCP.  I have owned a P3AT in the past and because of the horrible build quality and customer service I will not own another keltec product.

Pictures of your setup would be awesome.

Thank you in advance for input.

Weight matters more than size when running with a concealed handgun.  I use an LCP in a pocket holster. Doesnt bounce around anywhere near as bad as a Jframe in my pocket did or a glock in a fanny pack did.

Agreed. Unfortunately, there is not a jogging gun worth a damn based on my criteria, but the issue is moot thanks to a shattered knee. Kel tec's P3AT is ideal for size and weight, but their overall reviews show they are (or can be) flimsy, and .380 is not an appropriate caliber for a primary, IMO. Jogging, however is one of the ONLY situations where the adage
"a P3AT in the pocket > the .45 in the nightstand" isn't stupidity parroted as justification by the lazy.

If I jogged alot and was willing to shell out $ on a jogging-only platform the P3AT works.

I carry a Ruger LCP in a PistolWear holster, works well and is comfortable. I just bought a Walther PPS that I plan on carrying in the same holster, I just haven't properly tested it yet for reliability, so I haven't carried it yet.

What do you need a gun for if your already running away?

Sorry, I couldn't help myself

I'll go away now

i hope you are not serious...

There is a long trail in my area that crosses multiple states that is very popular among mountain bikers and trail runners.  There have been numerous assaults (many on women).  Some attacks were even on cyclists who "should" be able to get away.

I would look at single stack polymer .380s and 9mms.  Kahr has their new CM9 which may be a good option for a micro-9mm.

LCP in a IWB holster on "basketball" type shorts with a drawstring. It doesn't move around at all, and is very comfortable.

trim it down to fit better when positioned at the 12.

No flopping around at all.

I'm more apt to go with a small clip on holster, and kinda leaning to the LCP right now.   But IDK.  I would only use it for running.  When not running I want a 9mm or .45.

i run 5 days a week and still dont see how carrying a gun is practical, particularly in the summer when you sweat like hell

i can see carrying when trail running cause never know about a wild dog or something but on the roads, i am not going to carry
