IWB or OWB?

eta:  what type of build is your 300#?

IWB preferrably but just want most comfort.  Tried carrying my FN 5.7 in a crossbreed and just too uncomfortable.  I was thinking of using one of those clips on my Glock, cuz on my body type it disappears IWB or even in my front pocket.  (Athletic build, normal sized beer gut that is hidden on my frame til i sit.)

Don't do that.     You need something that covers the triggerguard.

If you want a comfortable IWB holster look into the Comp-Tac C-TAC or M-TAC.

Go with MTAC for IWB or Comp-tac Gladiator for OWB.

Not trying to bag on you here, but those are a bad idea as well.  Please consider a quality holster from a reputable maker.  They will cost you $$$, but the investment will absolutely be worth it.

I've been using el cheapo nylon IWB holsters for years for my G17, G21, and now my G26. I just have to find them with metal belt clip.

Comp-tac Infidel with the belt clip option.

Easy on, easy off, very simple holster.

You are a big dude.

Try the 17 in a Crossbreed.  It's smaller than the FN.  Or sell the FN and buy a 19.  But then your hands may just be too big for it, Gulliver.
Oh, try this:

http://n82tactical.com/n82store/    They're leather/neoprene/herringbone elastic.

Yes, the 19 too small for my grip.  Hard living in a Lilliputian world.  Thanks for help. The N82tactical looks like what I'm after but there is so many that look similar that are 1/4 to 1/2  the cost? Testimonials sound good, may give a try.

I'm 5'10: and 250.

Over the years, several shops have started using kydex holsters for Glocks.

The shop that seems most committed to providing new designs and great prices and customer service is:

Comp-Tac

The Infidel is a simple one clip IWB holster that is canted and the slide will also work for a G26, G19, and G17.  $55

I have an older Gurkha which I love with a clip on the slide portion and one rearward.  I don't see it on their catalog though?

But for more comfort, you'll want a canted holster.

Have their older Shirt Tucker - great for G19 and smaller.

For a G17, if you want great retention, CTAC.

I have tried others but my G27, G34, G20, G21 ride in Comp-Tacs.
